The May Report
Wow. What at difference a month makes. In May, I showed fewer that half as many houses as in April, which is weird because the number of listings increased by about 25%.
The sellers came out but the buyers stayed home.
I showed 29 houses to 7 clients. I did three offers for three clients and was successful once.
Of the houses that I showed, five were subsequently cancelled, suspended or expired. That is the first time that happened.
Of course it is a transitional market so five of the houses that sold did so for more than 20% over list price and four sold for more than 14% over list price. It’s seems random. Heavy competition for some homes and no offers for others.
