Yoga just got weird. A new phenomenon, which started in Oregon last year has spread now to Waterloo Region. Yoga with goats. You’ve got to be kidding!

A new kind of crosswalk might soon be coming to Jubilee Drive in Victoria Park. If only we could train the geese to use it too.

Community Services Annual Report

In 2015 and 2016, we successfully welcomed 1,800 Syrian refugee newcomers to Waterloo Region. The annual community service report is out. We are doing pretty good.

Without many open streets to close, the livable cities movement which started in 2011 as Car Free Sundays is taking to the trails and other public spaces. There are lots of activities and lots of nodes
