My June activity report

June activity report

My June activity report makes me seem a little lazy

I showed 45 houses in June. It felt like fewer because general activity in the world of real estate was remarkably calm. I worked with 7 clients and put in only one offer, which turned out to be a very competitive little listing over in the East Ward that generated 8 competing offers.

Many of my clients, like most homebuyers in this part of the world are waiting to see what happens.

Spoiler alert: When everyone waits, nothing happens.

The houses that I saw that sold, sold for an average of 4.75% over listing price. That’s down from about 14% just two months ago.

However only 17 of the 45 sold. There are 19 that are still for sale which means that 9 either cancelled, were withdrawn or expired.

All in all, the summer slowdown came a little early this year and I’m looking forward to a long hot summer beside the pool. Come on summer!
