CMHC reports that housing starts in Waterloo Region was up almost 27% last year, double digit growth over the previous year.
Housing starts are always a good indicator of where the economy is going so this is great news for us. The strong housing market is showing no signs of slowing down. Maybe too, these new homes will help alleviate our serious lack of inventory.
