Last year, the price of bungalows in Waterloo Region increased by 8.7%. Two-storey homes increased by14%.
The average price of a bungalow rose to $351,979, while two-storey homes saw their average price rise to $413,055.
Of course, these statistics are for the whole of Waterloo Region. Different neighbourhoods will vary widely.
